Cannonball Carmody 'Operation "PSY" written and drawn by Leonard Starr (Mary Perkins On Stage, Annie) was published by Editions du Lombard in 1984, with a storyline steeped in espionage and mystery.
Through arrangements with the estate of Leonard Starr, Classic Comics Press is reprinting the original artwork in black and white, scanned from Starr's original stats, with a new Carmody story, The Hit Man.
"While Cannonball Carmody isn’t as widely known as Starr’s newspaper strips, it represents an interesting blend of American comic sensibilities and European graphic storytelling — a testament to Starr’s versatility and international reach."
